Hi,

When I doubleclick in an excel sheet(this do not occurs with word
document) to open it I receive a message: C:\users\Bill Gates\Desktop
\Microsoft Budget 2008.xls cannot be found.
When I go to C:\ there is not a folder called users, since the OS is
in french the folder is called utilisateurs and inside my folder is
not desktop, is only Bureau.
When I drag n drop the file into the excel application works fine,
even when I go to ribon->open I can open it.
Probably this starts with an update, since when I install the Office
2007 everything works fine for few weeks.

This has nothing to do with Vista. Post this to the Office Excel newsgroup

Hello Peter,

Is not a problem with the excel, since the double-click is managed by
the windows and the windows give the wrong parameters with the wrong
address to the excel, so the excel give me the msg the file canot be
found.

Office and Vista has nothing to do with each other.Look for your problem in Excel or in Office. You can set double or single clicks of your mouse in Office also separate from Vista
