Vista Home Premium - Can Not Run Windows Updates - Error #C0150004

Any one have a resolution for this problem?

I see lots of discussion regarding Windows Updates, but no direct
answers.

Firewall is temporarily disabled, no anti-virus is running, and
connection to the Internet is good. This is a brand new Compaq/HP
machine, right out of the box.

Which probably means that nobody is giving any other details than the code.

See how little meaning there is with just that code? It's supplemental details
which are needed for diagnosing and resolving the problem it is associated with.

Please run an inplace upgrade of Windows vista, by booting up to
existing OS (I'm 100% sure this will resolve the issue). If u find
this work plz reply me to v-. Thanx over

Did this work for anyone? If so, how do you do this reboot?
