Vista home prof. and news videos( CNN example)

Under normal default settings you see the commercials fine (figures huh) but
the video news cast wont play. Help tells you what to change and that works
fine. But now I get the messages that my security changes are putting my
computer at risk. How does one fix this and still be able to watch the news
videos. Or are they secretly telling you that news is bad for you ? HUMM????
