Vista IE7 delete the Favorites Folder take a long time

Dear all,
I got a problem with Vista IE7, when I delete the Favorties Folder at IE7,
machine looks hang and take a long time (almost 5mins), then the confirm
message box come up. I thought my machine hang.
Does it any solution can make it faster ?
Please help and advise.
