Vista installation won't start!

Hello, I have tried to install Vista RC1 on my XP computer, but it says that
I have to update a driver for Ali M5229 PCI Bus Master IDE-controller, a hard
disk controller. I have been looking for the driver on the internet the hole
day, but can't find it. what can I do?
I also tried to boot the DVD, but then only a Vista background and the mouse
appeares, not the installation...

Please help me! I really want to test Vista RC1:-D

I'm having exactly the same problem - I have the feeling that this driver is
quite old, hopefully someone will update it or later versions of Vista will
be compatibile. I'm not sure there's much we can do at the mo!

Ok, thanks, I almost thought that I was the only one with this problem. well,
I'll post a link if I find the driver...
