Using vista OS, after 3 months using this system I am now receiving this
message when trying to use internet banking.

When I enter my customer number and access code I get the message.....
"You must provide a value for access code".
Their Solution:
Add the Greater's website to your list of trusted sites and change the
security level.

For Internet Explorer users, left click on Tools, Internet Options, left
click on the tab Security. Left click on the 'Trusted Sites' icon. Left click
on Sites.

I have tried their 'solution' which does not work. They have no other
answers for me with regard to fixing this problem.

When using Windows XP - logging onto banking site everything is fine

Would anyone have any suggestions?

I would guess your AutoComplete entry is corrupt. IE, tools menu, Options,
Content tab, clear your autocomplete settings

For most problems, I'd try to help, but considering the nature of you
request (Internet Banking), a public forum such as this may not be th
best place to locate advice

I suggest then that you rather contact your bank directly, and have th
IT staff assist you

I would guess it to be 'protected mode' in the browser. I suggest going to
start, and rightclicking a command prompt icon, choose 'run as
administrator', and at that prompt, type the http:// address of the bank
page.

Right-click on the IE shortcut icon and select the Start without add-ons option. You can then manage which add-ons are enabled, in Tools | Manage Add-ons, after you've started IE7.
