Vista keeps installing update (KB936181)

Vista keeps installing/asking me to install this update every day. I've
already installed it and it shows it was successful numerous times. Anyone
have any idea of what to do to make Vista recognize its installed and to quit
asking me to install it?

I have the same problem and I came across this solution. I am going to try
it and you should read through it and see if you think it will work for you.
