vista on laptop keeps trying to upgrade non-existant application

it apparently thinks there is an SQL server on this laptop.

I'd like to make it stop trying to upgrade.

Is this via Windows Updates? You may find, that while you don't have a
full-blown SQL server on your machine, you might have an application that
uses bits of SQL.....
