Vista, leave my resolution alone!

Hello,

When my computer is powered ON from an OFF state, the resolution is reset to
800 x 600. I can manually adjust the resolution, but why does Vista do
this? Has anybody found a fix?

Could be your video drivers. Do you have an onboard on an add-in video
board? If it is working correctly, the settings will stay.

Visit the manufacturers website for the installed graphics card and check
for and download/install the latest drivers.
