The problem is that Vista is not an improvement over XP in everyday use.
Vista is not even the equal of XP in everyday use in tangible things like
speed, program compatibility, stability.
All the "ities" are much better in XP.
XP users are correct to resent Microsoft threatening to pull the plug on XP
support and force them to an OS that is worse than XP in every way and
offers not one single tangible benefit.
Did I mention networking problems in Vista?
However, I do wonder why Microsoft does not counter the idiot Apple TV ads:
bad as Vista is Vista is far more secure than Leopard and has had less
security updates needed than Leopard or its predecessor. Also Leopard
trashed 20-30% of upgrade installations, obviously something Apple does not
mention in its ads!

But in that case, you should be honored to know that YOU are the first
idiot I will enter into my kFile, of all time. I've *never* placed any
poster in a kFile. Not Frank, not Alias, not AA, not anyone, not even the
FYI posters. So you must be the biggest of them all.
