I have windows vista 32 bit home premium, and i've been trying t
install vista manager x86. when i go to install it, it says

This advertised application will not be installed because it might b
unsafe. contact your administrator to change the installation use
interface option of the package to basic

This has left me thoroughly confused
and vista manager x64 is not compatible. How do i fix this? i've looke
through the google searches, trying to figure it out, but i'm stil
stumped. please if you have any knowledge of this and how to fix it, i'
be ever gratefu

What I can conclude is that the program is asking you to change the color
scheme to windows vista basic instead of windows aero while installing the
program,which is strange to understand.

Personally, I would not use that type of third-party software. Considering
what it does there is a fair chance that future Windows updates will impact
it. Also, I would not use it because I can see no Support tab on the
homepage. Not the best situation.

You would be typically having one of the two already. To know which
one,right-click in an empty area of the desk-top and select `Personalize`.In
the new window that comes up,select `Window Color and Appearance`.If a new
dialog box pops up,you are running the windows vista basic color scheme. If
no new dialog box appears and you get to see a set of colored square boxes
instead, you are running the Windows Aero color scheme.
