Ok here it is. Your Dish Net Box takes in a signal and decodes it fo
use by (a single) television. It has only on tuner output with probabl
multiple ways to connect that signal to your tv. Whatever channel yo
tune to on the box will come out of the outputs. If you split tha
signal, and run it to two different tvs or a tv/pc then you will stil
only be getting that one channel on both devices. Dish net and Direc
have this on their customers. If you want television on more than on
tv, every tv needs to have a box. The same goes for your PC tuner card
Get another box and set up your tuner to work with a set-top-box. Wit
Dish and Direct tv, splitting a signal only work before you get to th
box. But you still need one box for each television to decode the sat
signal coming in. It's not like land line cable television. Here is
secret though. If you get cable internet from a cable supplier that run
over coax you can split that signal. Chances are you'll be able to ge
basic cable for free on your pc if you want. Cable television and cabl
internet travel on the same lines. Most cable providers do not put i
place filters to filter out the cable television and only allow interne
to pass because it effects the internet signal. So if you don't want t
get an other box from Dish and you have cable intenet over a coax line
you can split it to go to your modem and tuner card and will at leas
have basic cable on your pc, which your remote will control with n
problem
