Hi,

I have windows vista ultimate. when i open windows media centre, it will
open for maybe 20 second then crashes. no error codes are given. the same
thing happens when windows picks up my xbox 360 and i tell windows to add
media extender. The ehshell.crash file shows the following errors below. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Brian

brian,I had this problem along with others on here,in my case wm11 would also
crash. To fix mine i made sure there were no plug-ins active in wm11 and then
i found the main culprit to be "G-Force". i got rid of that and iv`e had no
crashes in media centre since.
this is only what worked for me it might not be in your case, but try.

I'm with Peter in this thread. At the very least it sounds like a driver
issue or some compatibility problem with some device with one caveat. Were
you ever able to open Media Center or is this a recent issue. If a recent
issue, can you think of any hardware or software you may have installed or
removed or any other change you might have made shortly before this began?
