Vista, Mobile 5.0 USB Synch

My Windows Mobile 5.0 can't synchronize with Exchange server when connected
to my PC by USB port. At the same time, it synchronize with desktop without
problems. If I turn WiFi it connects to the Internet and synchronize with
the server without problems.

I'm using VISTA and firewall allows Windows Mobile connectivity.

Any idea?

Hello,

I believe this is the default behavior. I've seen this on WM5 and 6 device
and have not found/seen any work around on it.

Yet another reason to stay with XP for a while. Sync'ing a WM5 device with
an Exchange Server over a USB-cable works perfectly with ActiveSync on Win
XP. But this of course does not help Zoran much :-/

So are we saying Ive lost abilty to sync to my PPC now that I have Vista on
Desk top..?

I really only need to sync my calender(s)..
