Vista - "My Documents" redirection dropping periodically

Hi,

I have Vista Business on my desktop. Our "My Documents" folder is
redirected to a network share for backup purposes. Users running XP have no
problems, but on my Vista desktop, a couple of times a week my PC loses that
connection (the icon changes to a blank page looking icon), and I have to
reboot to restore the connection, and it will be fine for a day or two, and
then do it again. It's more inconvenient than annoying, but I wondered if
anyone else has seen this, and if there is a way to fix it. I binged, but
didn't find any help.

Mike

When it "drops the connection", can you still access other computers through
the network?

Why don't you keep the "My Documents" on your local drive. Then when you make changes, copy
the folder to the network share. This way you will always have your documents even if the
network is down.
