Vista Offline Files

I have it set in my group policy to not automatically make redirected
folders available offline, but any vista machine doesn't seem to care.

From what I've read the only way to stop it from happening is to set a
policy disabling the offline files service...is this true?

I'm having the same problem. What a pain! In my case I DO want to use offline
files, I just want to not use it for my personal "My Documents", because
iTunes sticks it stuff there and just does NOT get on with the offline setup.
(Even though I've told it to store it's stuff in a local folder) Stupid
iTunes :-)

Anyway, Vista ignores the policy to not force offline mode for redirected
folders, which is a total pain, and I haven't been able to find any post
anywhere that actually explains why this is and if it can be resolved.
