Vista Online

I have just installed vista ultimate and have a problem with the Internet
and mail___I can access the Internet I can access my home
page_____________but from there I cannot access windows updates , it just
keeps on looking for ages and then tells me that I have code error 80072EE2
this is not the problem___I can start to download my AVG definitions and it
got to 37% and stopped____my home page can be accessed but cannot do
anything at all with it___have formatted and reinstalled Vista , with the
same problem_________am using a duel core AMD system with 2 GB ram so I
should have enough resources
any help would be gratefully received

lol, is it possible your internet provider is the cause?

no I am using XP at this time on a different HDD
(am on Dialup)

I know that If I upgrade vista over my XP that I am using now on my C: drive
___then I would have no problems_____been and done it !!!!!!
