Vista OS proble

I recently purchased a Toshiba Portégé with Windows Vista Home, not mor
than three weeks ago. I used it at home and it worked perfectly fine.

But, when I take it to lectures/outside of home with me, there hav
been more than several times when I turn it on and only get a blan
screen with a white cursor which eventually shows the message
"Operating System Cannot Be Found".

However, I will turn it off and on again and it will work perfectl
normally again. Sometimes it will take one, two or three tries to get i
to the normal boot up procedures, but I'm worried one day it will jus
not work any more

This is a new laptop and I was wondering if something is wrong with th
HD or OS system. I checked each time to see if I had a diskette or C
left inside but I don't

Thanks for any and all advise in advance

I just had to purchase a new laptop because my HD kept dying on me an
I'm really frustrated with these issues at the moment

As this is a new computer the only correct response is, "Return it to the
place of purchase for warranty repair or replacement".

Nope, you have a *Toshiba* problem.
As others...
Use the warranty!
