vista phone activation

I installed Vista RC1, and went to activate, when i realized that i didnt
have my modem anymore. I called the number the phone activation gave, and
gave the computer on the other end the list of numbers that was displayed on
my screen. It read back another list of numbers, which i (successfully)
typed into the provided area, but when i hit continue (or next, whatever it
was), a box came up saying that my serial key did not match my activation
key. (I used the serial key provided on microsoft's site).

Lesson #1. Don't talk to a computer. Talk to a person.
