I have a toshiba L-305 laptop with 3 gigs ram and windows premium vista
installed by
the manufacturer without the c.d.
I use it wirelesly with a linksys router and a usb accelerator by
linksys.
I am not very computer literate, (newby), and I want to find out ways
to speed up this computer, I am using a satellite ISP, bluemountain;
thank you in advance for your help;

Replace your HDD with an SSD - that will give you a big boost in
performance. Only a matter of $$$$.
PS: The installation/recovery CD you should burn from the recovery
partition. And if you want to protect yourself, do frequent imaging to
an external disk - see here:

My apologies, Hell is a bad word. I saw a message from whs that was not
proceeded by "RE:" I thought it was just some random information. It could
have been, and then it would not be my business. Sorry for being mean.
