Software compatibility with Windows Vista is the responsibility of the
software manufacturers.
Contact the manufacturers and see what they say about Vista
Compatibility. They may have issued a Vista patch.
If compatibility issues are found during a Beta, the appropriate information
is passed to the manufacturer for action or to ignore as the manufacturer
decides.
Also, many forward Vista compatibility directly to the manufacturer.
Have you tried Compatibility Mode:
Right click the icon, click Properties.
Click Compatibility Tab and go from there.
Make sure your hardware has the latest drivers, that may resolve your sound
issues.
