Vista Product Code - LOST!

I'm baaaack! I posted a request some time ago about having lost all
documentation, product code, everything ...from my purchase of Vista
Home Basic. Someone nice chap suggested that I get the Product Code
from the Vendor.

My luck, the Vendor doesn't keep id records; (Shocking.com)

So I managed to dig into my Paypal records and I got the sales
receipt with all the detail, price, date, etc.

Question: What's the fastest way to get the Product Code now?a letter
seems to me to be the slowest, but if I have to, I will.

I had to go somewhere else to find the ORIGINAL thread on this to
refresh my memory.

Vendors do NOT keep a record of the product codes. I doubt that they
even KNOW the codes of the discs they sell. And they are NOT about to
reach into a grab bag and pull one out for you.

I think you're just going to have to make up your mind that you
screwed up quite badly on this and that you're now up that proverbial
creek without a paddle.

see this link from my website:
http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org/how...ace_a_lost.htm

The link refers to Windows XP but the procedure is the same for Vista or any
version of Windows.

Hey douche bag, did you click on the link once you got to his page?
Probably not because your head was too far up your ass to see that there is
a link called "How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or
Hardware". Once you get to the Microsoft page, there is a section that
deals with the product key.

Take your head out of your ass and stop being such a dick.

Yup... but obviously didn't read far enough.

You can return to creating more nicks now.

Don't need to right away but when I do, I'm sure you will post the results!
LOL

Don't know who needs that information but you seem to think it's important

Don't need to. I've served my purpose already.

It showed what I suspected: the large number of trolls (judging by the
number of nicks) is actually only a half-dozen people at most. More
accurately: a half-dozen idiots/adolescents at most.
