After some upgrades mainly KB940157 my profile no longer loads
automatically. Once I log in to the machine it loads file explorer
rather than the profile explorer. I have to hit Ctrl Alt Delete and
start task manager then launch explorer in order to get my profile to
load. The system runs fine till i reboot then I have to redo it once
again.

i should also add that i created a new account just to test to see if
it was just my profile, long and behold i logged in to the new account
and have the same issue.

I have ran virus scan and malware to no end with nothing found. I also
tried to do registry cleaner utility and that didnt fix it either.

By chance do you know the exact registry key that loads explorer?
