      07-17-2007
every now and then vista will reboot on its own with no warning, it just
restarts. i'm unable to determine a particualr action that i'm doing to
corelate the two, but the system errors logs show a hotfix that is constantly
requesting to be installed and needs to reboot. the logs are filled with this
msg and it is time stamped with the same time for each. now that i think of
it, is the a problem with patch MS07-040 KB928366?

KB928366 is unrelated to this issue

- try a system restore
- disable the automatic restart by doing this:
control panel>system>advanced system settings>click settings unde
startup and recovery>remove the check from automatically restart>clic
ok.
so now instead of restarting you should get a BSOD, and you can post i
here
