Recently I tried to copy some pictures to a SD Card while the card is
formated FATS for 1GB it would only copy to 248MB of the media. I tried
reformating and stopping VISTA from using the Windows Memory Boost option
with nosuccess. I can't finsd anything online to give me a hint where to do
next. Thanks for your suggestions

Allen,
Were you trying to copy many files to the root of the drive (that is to
e:\)? If so that may be your problem. There is a limited number of files
(512 comes to mind but that may be wrong) that can reside in the root of a
drive. If that is your problem then start over. After deleting all those
files you copied, create a folder (E:\pictures for instance) now copy all
your pictures into that folder.
