When i first got my laptop with vista my rating was 9.17 now i only average
around 4.15

Anybody got any comparison indices

am using asus x51rl , 1024 mem 120gb hd duo t2330 cpu

We misinterpreted what you were saying.
The reliability monitor would be a 10.
Mine is 9.43.
Any software you install, any issues could drive that number down.
The chart will give you great insight.

I guess rather than saying, "How broke is YOUR Vista?" you might spend some
time looking through the report and finding out why your copy of Vista is so
unstable. Mine is at 10.0 and has been for several days now. The last time
mine crashed I looked at the report, saw that the ATI Catalyst Control
Center was crashing even while I slept, so I removed my ATI card and
replaced it with an nVidia. Since then it's all been uphill. :-)
