To view file extensions, do this:
- Open any Windows Explorer window
- Click on "Organize", then "Folder and Search Options"
- Click the "View" tab
- Remove the check from the setting for "Hide extensions for known
file types" in the "Advanced Settings" list.
- Click OKAll files, including EXEs, will now be listed with their extensions
shown.
