1) I am tryng to save a file within an application and Vista says I need
Admin permission to save the file. But, I am the only user and I am the
Admin and it is my PC and only my PC at home. I just installed it on my new
clone PC. What the heck? What do I do?

2) How / where do I turn off UAC? I do not need it (did not need it on XP.
Never had any problems. I have virus and spy protection).

3) Running Vista Ultimate
Media Center is nice but ... why does it not show all my TV stations?
I can enter the missing stations but the Guide does not show the programming
correctly. It shows the programming for the base channel. e.g. Local
LosAAngeles Antenna didital stations: 58.1 shows automatically when searched,
but 58.3 (a strong signal strength station) does not show. I can manually
put it in but the progamming info is for 58.1.

4) How do I program to record TV 58.3? (See (3) above) I have classes there
and need to record. I see no way to specify programming by channel number
and date and time. What's up with that? And if the guide download fails
(which it has) I get no program record capability at all. Poor.

Where are you trying to save the file Vista won't let you save files in
certain places, even if you're admin (your user folder structure is where you
should save things).

UAC is there for your protection, I know it seems like a pain at first but
you will get used to it.
