Vista restart Doesn't

Running Vista Ultimate on a dc7100 hp. Start button restart doesn't restart.
Goes through post and have to use power button to restart. Tried Vista
bootpro and had to insert dvd to fix mbr-after activation same story on
restart. Works okay till activation. Any ideas? TIA

Have you tried changing the power option settings

Does that mean they were set to never display and sleep or you set the
to that just now? Did you get the problem fixed

I have had them set that way since installartion
