Hi Risk the answer is No, it is not normal. I use screensavers and they don't
hinder the sleep function. It is normal for the mouse to wake the computer,
but not freeze. There is , in effect, something wrong. Unfortunately I don
really know where to steer you. I hope you get other, more informative
replies as to how to remedy the situation. Gary
