Is a Vista service pack due to be released soon?

I could not install Office Accounting 2007 or Business Contact Manager 2007.
Microsoft told me they are aware of the issue and it should be resolved when
a Vista update is release on 3/19/07. Anyone heard anything about a pending
Vista service pack release?

Service packs typically are not released so soon after the release of an
operating system. They are large-scale collections of hotfixes that have
been released since the operating system came out, and in some cases--such
as XP SP2--contain modifications or feature additions for the software
itself.

The update MS was referring to would have been a specific hotfix to resolve
the issue. You could contact Microsoft Product Support services this week
to determine exactly the update you require and if it was in fact released,
but they weren't referring to a service pack.

Thanks. I was planning on checking in again with MS this week. I have an
open case going. Just thought I'd ask if anyone heard anything.
