Vista shutdown problem

Hi,

Anyone have any idea why, on starting up my PC after having put it to
sleep, it tells me that "Windows will shut down in 1 minute"?

I'm running 64 bit Vista Home Premium

What antivirus software do you use?
Any third party firewalls installed?
What antispyware/antimalware do you use?
(Update all of those and perform full scans.)

Are your hardware drivers up to date *from the hardware manufacturer*?
(Check that your chipset, video and network at least are all up to date
from the individual manufacturer's web sites and/or if a third tier system -
like a Dell, HP, Gateway, Lenovo, etc - check their site for the latest
drivers.)
