When I shutdown Vista Windows , it LOGS OFF , and SHUTS DOWN , but it does
NOT "Save my settings" Is there a way to reset it to save my settings ?/

Why would it save them unless you have changed them during the session?

That's an odd question. Why do you think the OP asked if there is a way to
get Vista to "save my settings"? It's because it's NOT saving the changes he
made. Duh!

It would help if you were more specific about what settings are not
being saved.

To me it sounds like you're asking about hibernation mode.
I know of 2 reasons why hibernation will not be available:
1) You must have at least as much free space on your boot partion as
you have ram.
2) If you ran disk cleanup in Vista, it probably deleted the
hibernation file.
