Can anyone please help me. I pretty much had to build a new machine to
run vista becasue it would not even run on my old one. I upgraded the
powersupply, new board, new video, new ram, new harddrive. It ran fine
for a few days and now that I am loading programs on it and browsing it
gives me the blue screen of death about every 30 min to 1 hour. in
reading other suggestions I changed the settings to not autoreboot so
that i could read the info on the blue screen. I get this.
Memory_management
Stop: 0x0000001A (0x00008884, ox83120CEC, ox83839508, ox00000001)

does anyone know what this means or what to do about it??? please!
thanks,
James

well it just happened again. The last several times has been in the
middle of watching a youtube video. this time I got a message that says
win32k.sys - address 90BAD2B2 base at 90ae0000, datestamp 47c78851
it also had that Stop: message again but I didn't write down all those
numbers. didn't know if they were important for someone to be able to
help or not.

Write the first set of numbers down. Then open Google and do a search on
the numbers and you'll most likely find out what is going with your
computer.

OKAYYYY,

well no help or advise from anyone on here. GEEZE... So here is what I
have done for anyone else that is looking for help. I ran windows memory
diag. tool and it found that my memory was bad.. even though it usually
worked and the system showed 2G. I just took back that memory and got
some new and now that Diag. tool does not see any errors. I haven't
been running it long enought to find out if it is going to keep
crashing but I think it is fixed.. so there you go. try that.
