Vista shuts down while in sleep mode

I just received a new Dell Inspiron 530, with 2 GIG of RAM. When I leave the
computer for say, a half hour, it goes into the sleep mode. When I "wake" it
by hitting the Enter key, I have to enter my password again and it advises me
that there was an unschedualed shutdown. I've only had it for 2 days and I've
downloaded all the updated, including SP 1. Any suggestions...

I suggest the Dell Support site for that. Those Dell guys are staying on top
of this. There may be a driver for your system and SP1. A recent shipment is
not necessarily going to have SP1's latest and greatest. Right now, this
stuff is happening daily.

Go to Advance Power Settings.
Set hard drive to turn off a minute or 2 before sleep.
Set Hybrid and Hibernate modes to "Never/Off"
Under USB settings select "Disable"
Under Multimedia select "Allow ....."
