Vista Sleeps ... Forever!

Hey All,

So I leave my computer for the night, and it seemingly goes to
sleep/hybernation but the numlock still goes off and on and it sounds like
it's still running, there's just no display to the screen. ... I've disabled
all the powersaving modes and it still does this .. I've done all the
windows updates, I got excited because there was a bios update that said
fixes resuming problem .. but it did not work ...

The only way to get the computer back on is to hold the power down for a
complete shutdown .. which when I start up again it says vista wasn't
shutdown properly.

I had that same exact issue! becareful, because I went into the Syste
Command and tried changing my power settings at the "advanced level" an
tried to sleep my computer again, but this time I sent it into a neve
ending loop of sleep!!

My computer won't even let me access my bios system. The moment I tur
it on, all my I/O settings go to sleep mode and I can't wake it up. M
computer powers up fine but I get no USB acknowledgement neither with m
video card.... my computer just won't respond. I tried everything t
even resetting the bios using a Recover Bios on the motherboard. Tha
didn't do anything! so be careful
