Vista sound card recomenadation?

My old audigy2 ZS is barely Vista compatible. And I do mean barely. I don’t
want to get into a discussion on what’s wrong with it. I just need a fully
Vista compatible sound card that really is compatible. One problem is that
some of my Dell machines use a connector on the sound card to interface with
the front panel and I think that connector is Creative labs proprietary.
Sound issues are the No. 1 reason I still have XP on all 8 of my computers

Creative Soundcards have compatibility problems with Vista - google it and
you'll find others have the same issue.

I have Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS and I've had no problems with Vista
Ultimate, or any of the beta versions I ''played" with. I have the latest
drivers installed on a Dell XPS Gen 5

My Creative Labs SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Value works perfectly with Vista
Business. Have you ensured that you're using the most recent drivers
from Creative, and not any generic Windows ones?
