2. Microsoft Office 2003/2007 shortcuts wont open from the "recently opened
programs list" in the Start menu. No response. These type of shortcuts only
open from the start menu in the Office from the office folder or the Desktop.

3. DirectX Diagnostic Tools (dxdiag) stops working when dxdiag is run and
attempts to access DirectShow (test dxdiag does on start of program). DxDiag
says “DxDiag has detected that there may have been a problem accessing
DirectShow the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass
DirectShow this time?”
If I click ‘Yes’ DxDiag appears to run normally. If I click ‘No’ DirectX
Diagnostic Tool crashes.

And if you arent an authorized tester, you shouldnt be installing the Vista
SP1 Beta since you arent authorized to do so, and you wont be given any
support if something goes wrong.

However, if you are in fact an authorized tester, by posting information
from Vista SP1 here is a violation of your NDA, which is taken very
seriously.

Yes, I have been invited to test SP1 Beta, i have service pack 1 v.275 on
Vista Home Premium.

These issues are general Vista issues, i will look to find a discussion
community on Microsoft Connect.

Does any one know of solutions to my problems?
