If you've been waiting for Windows Vista SP1 to come out before you make the
leap to the new operating system, don't, says Microsoft.

Not at all since windows Vista is long past Beta.

Depends on your definition of Beta. As far as I can tell, every single
release of all Windows OSes were released as Betas so MS could use the
paying public for free to sort out bugs that weren't noticed in the
so-called "real" Beta and Vista could be more appropriately called in
Public Alpha right now. The jury is out if it will ever make it to Beta
or be thrown away like Windows Me for Vienna.

that determination.

software from any source.
The fact is Windows Vista is not Beta.

You think Windows Vista is a Beta and the facts disagree.

Your opinion of the software is irrelevant as to whether it is Beta or
not.
That is not your or my call.
You do not like it and you feel it is like a Beta.
But that does not make it a Beta.
