Vista SP1 installed ...but at second restart the Pc hang on Black

I've installed SP1 on my machine...all Ok, the system restarted and appeared
the message windows SP1 installed ok, press end. GOOD!! i thought!!!
The system works fine!!!...but when i decided to shutdown the system, it
didn't restart, on screen the bar loading of Vista appeared...and then the
BLack Screen!!.
So i've uninstalled SP1...and the system restarted fine.
I Tried to reinstall SP1 with the whole file 500MB downloaded from
Microsoft...the same thing..all ok the SP1 installed, the system worked..but
after shutdown the system didn't restart, always the same black screen...so
i decided to uninstall it and did not reinstall !!!
Any solution?
i asked Support but they told me in USA is different from Europe, so i'm
waiting the european support will answer me.
