Vista SP1 performance still AWFUL!

Just short of 12 hours. Dreadful...just dreadful!

When will it improve?

If it's via your Ethernet card, you can use device manager to open the
Ethernet Properties, and set the Speed setting to 10MBPH instead of 'auto
negotiate' and your transfer rate will increase.
