Vista SP1 placed an icon

Updated Vista with SP1 an icon with
the name "DeskTop.ini" showed up on
the desktop.
Why?
What am I going to use this for?
Anybody know?

This is a system settings file. Adjust the setting in Windows Explorer >
Tools > Folder Options > View tab > Hide system files. Apply to all folders.

This is a hidden "protected operating system file" used for folde
information. Normally a user should not mess with these. This tutoria
will show you how to hide it again
