Vista SP1 - Turns off after install SP1

I have a Asus laptop, F5R with Vista Home Premium with 2GB ram.
When I install SP1 it turns off when I reboot after the installation is
complete.
I have done this 3 times and the result is that I must run full recovery !

Is there anybody out there that have any tips ?

This may not help much, but if you have done this three times already then
you are a candidate for using an SP1 CD image rather than network download
every time. There is a five-language standalone and an all-language
standalone version on http://download.microsoft.com. I don't follow "it
turns off when I reboot". Do you mean that Vista won't start up again after
the reboot?

The first time I download from http://download.microsoft.com and the two
others via WinUpdate.
It is Norwegian version.
