Vista SP2 corrupted my MS office

Hi AS I got vista Sp2 through auto-update, I started using it. My system
performance definitely increased. But now problem is as I started suing MS
office and XL, they were corrupted. I mean that it wasn't like they don't
work, but they started showing problems I don't understand and closing as a
result of problems. So My office suddenly closes while I am saving, copying
some information.

Office is only software I know so far corrupt. I am not sure how much others
are affected. I can reinstall office as I have disk. But I am not sure that I
have disk for each and every other software!

Please give me solutions or solve through SP3! :P

It's doubtful that Windows Vista SP2 corrupted your office install and it is
bad (unwise at best) that you do not have (or know if you have) installation
media for each application you have installed.

I'd run a full malware scan on your system (MalwareBytes and
SuperAntiSpyware) and make sure you have all the updates other than Windows
Vista SP2 - including all Office updates. Then - I would run a repair or
diagnostics on your office installation (you did not say what version you
have - so I cannot give specific instructions.)

After all that - before using - CHKDSK and DEFRAGMENT the drive.

While I very much doubt that installing Vista SP2 caused these problems...
