I thought this might have been caused by a screen saver I had
installed, but I've since uninstalled it.
When doing something instensive "sometimes" my aero look changes on
the fly to look like Windows 2000 start button and task bar. For
example, it happened last night when I was rotating digital pictures
in Windows Explorer. I've seen it happen when running 1080p films,
etc.
I can get it back by going into Themes and changing it to the Vista
default, then back to My Favorite Theme. If I kill Explorer in Task
Manager and reload explorer the Vista one comes back.
I am not running any odd background or anything special on the
computer. The computer is fully within Vista's desired spec range
(can't remember what that's called) as it gets a 5.9 on the Vista
test. It is running 1920 x 1080 resolution on a 60" Sony 60A3000 RPTV.
Any thoughts? Thanks for your comments and help.
