When I try to start up my Vista32x the screen goes blue and th
following message comes up
STOP: C000021a {FatalSystemError
The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedl
with a status of 0X00000000 (0XC0000001 0X0010058C
The system has been shut dow

I got a Vista CD and tried to repair, but it didn't work, so as m
harddrive is partitioned I installed Vista onto the D: harddrive. Thi
enables me to access my files but no programs work on it

I can no longer run Startup Repair as when i try to run it it brings m
back to the Windows Boot Manager screen where i choose which Vista t
run

Can anyone help

Hi,

It's a fatal driver error. Without knowing which one, it's nearly impossible
to resolve. A dump file from the original installation might help diagnose
it, but fixing it without being able to access the installation will be
difficult at best.

Seeing as you already have another installation, I would suggest you just
reinstall your programs from their original installation media and move
forward.
