Computer did an automatic restart, but wouldn't start. Gave me two

Option 2 just brings me back to this message, option 1 starts the
process but states windows cannot repair this computer automatically.

Problem Detail is......

Problem Signatire 02: 6.0.6000.16386.6.0.6000.16386

Problem Signature 04: 196611
Problem Signature 05: FailureDuringSetup
Problem Signature 06: FailureDuringSetup
Problem Signatuer 07: 0

ProblemSignature 09: unknown
Problem Signatre 10: 1168
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Belinda aka TopCopWife

Try booting with your Vista DVD and from there choose System Restore.
Restore to a time before the problem existed. Then stop the automatic
restart function so you can get a Stop Error (blue screen). You can
research the Stop Error here:

http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

For people who only have a restore image - Windows Vista Recovery Disc
Download:
http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/window...disc-download/

Of course, you should try and answer The First Question Of Troubleshooting:
If the problem is new, what changed between the time things worked and the
time they didn't?
