How can I tell if my computer has had Vista SP1 installed?

Hold down the Windows key and press Pause/Break. If it's installed, it
will say so there.

In my case, I can tell because my computer would not start.

Thanks Ken. The System page only shows Vista Home Premium. I have Windows
Update set to automatic so I am puzzled as to why it hasn't installed SP1.
Any ideas?

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 is not available for installation from Windows Update and is
not offered by Automatic Updates:
