Click Start, type:
devmgmt.msc
Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the DVD drive device,
Action menu, "Uninstall", (do Not put a check in 'delete driver") then
Action menu,"scan for hardware changes", to find the device drivers again
automatically.
