Vista support

This product is based on RTC in the audio level. It is well known that Vista
doesn't support completely RTC since it's partially relayed on NetMeeting
which is stopped being supported.
So I may miss something. I'd like to know whether this product is supported
in Vista with all features, including application sharing?

Thanks

Arie

Greetings Arie,

Last I checked, everything should be working except Application Sharing, Whiteboard and
Remote Assistance (RA has worked in the past so it may in RC2, I've not checked).

Thanks Jonathan,
2 questions:
1. Perhaps you know if Microsoft has ever declared regarding future support
of the unsupported items in Vista?
1. Why did you mention RA in the unsupported list though was supported in
previous version?

Thanks in advance

Arie

Hi Arie,

1. Not really.
2. Well, someone mentioned to me it was broken in the build before RC2 but I've not had the
opportunity to go check or validate its present condition. If it is broken, I'm sure it will
be fixed in Windows Live Messenger 8.1 (which is supposed to be the "vista compatible"
version).

Hi,

That's quite honestly the worst logic I've heard in a long time. Patience please, you've
only posted that just over 12 hours ago.
